Stephen Bliss, the Porvincial Minister has recently returned from meetings in Rome and Glasgow. In Rome he attended as Chair of the Administrative Commission for the Order's special Jubilee Fund , and was in Galsgow for a meeting of the Provincials of the English-speaking Conference of the Order.

Recent receptions into the Order- William Lee, Justin Lee and Derrick commenced their pre-novitiate program in Singapore. William Long and Colin Teo began their Novitiate earlier in the year. Kevin Fear renewed his vows, and continues his studies at Yarra Theological Union, Melbourne.

Following on a recommendation from the Province's last Chapter , the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission has a new Promoter- Ms.Julie Morgan who leaves her position as Deputy National Director of Caritas Australia to begin working for the Province in late April. Peter Cantwell continues his work as Visitator-General to the Irish Province- it took him to visit Irish friars working in Zimbabe; he reported that there is a great future for the fiars in that country as they work to be instruments of peace in that strife torn country.
