We are Franciscan friars — a fraternity in mission more than 800 years in the making. Inspired by the life of St Francis to bring the Gospel of Joy and Grace to the world. Friars from Australia and New Zealand serve the poor and marginalised in a variety of ministries.

Franciscan vocation is based upon a personal encounter with the Lord and begins with the call of God and the individual’s decision to follow Christ in the footsteps of St Francis.
